  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Apr 2025: Anna ran a wonderful Folk Art mixed media session. We were provided a history on the folk art movement and how it also related to the architectural space we were in. We were walked through each step to create an intentional artwork using watercolour painting and then drawing with marker and fineliner. Anna provided valuable guidance on the silhouette I drew - I struggled with the leg placements which she helped me to correct. This meant I walked away from the class with a central focal point I was really happy with. We were also given some extra time to finish up our work, for those of us who were working a little slower (me!). The supplies were high quality and the instructional material to take away were brilliant. I chose a lovely reclaimed frame for my artwork from the ones supplied, and there were also new frames in different styles to choose from. This was a great value for money class and Anna is a very clear and patient teacher.
  • 5/5 from Tanne Urie, attended Apr 2025: This class was so much fun! I gained some valuable knowledge on folk art. While we ran out of time to finish and frame the work, I'm excited to use what I was taught to finish it off at home. Makers and Shakers market let it down by putting it in the middle of the market and not to the side, it was too noisy to hear sometimes. Anna is very kind and polite and came around to everyone to provide valuable feedback.
