Searching for things to do on the Gold Coast and beyond? Learn how to make a DIY flower crown with fresh blooms in this mobile workshop with Danielle!

Mother Nature gifts us with beautiful blooms which heal our souls and are the reproductive organs of life! Flowers have an essence which can speak when there are no words. They can bless any space with their beauty, so no wonder they are at the core of celebrations and ceremonies.

Flower crowns are a fun way to gather your friends and bless a special day. Whether you're looking for classy hens party ideas, baby shower activities, team building ideas, or just want an excuse to catch up with friends, this workshop is perfect for you.

Your teacher Danielle can travel to your venue, whether it be your home, park, or dedicated event space you've organised. All you need to do is provide a comfortable seating space (either a table or on the ground) for your group. Workshops are available across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Northern Rivers.

The workshop roughly runs for two hours, with plenty of learning and creating fun, then time for clean up and gorgeous photos with everyone. You will finish up with a beautiful flower crown each to cherish and all the skills to continue making more.

My name is Danielle and I have been creating all my life by exploring many different mediums. Flowers and textiles have always been my happy place where I feel entirely connected to my self-expression and to nature.

I became a qualified florist in 2020 which was a dream come true combining my two passions of nature and art. After working in the industry for some time I realised how big of an impact flowers have on people's moods and energy.

Even more so the therapeutic practice of actually creating with them. So I felt the push to start my own business (Bloom Blessings) hosting flower workshops for the community to bring their blessings into more spaces and have their medicine accessible to more people in a creative space.

Embroidery is that practice in my life that allows me to tell stories and mark moments in time through thread and fabric. It is a very meditative practice for me and a way to make my mark and express myself. I love that with embroidery I can paint with thread and embellish my clothes and express myself. Embroidery has been around for centuries as a way to beautify garments, tell stories, hidden languages and ward off evil spirits. It's a beautiful craft that has been handed down through generations and I feel that it is my mission to share this craft with more people to not only keep the skill alive but to give people a craft that allows them to relax their minds and express themselves through textiles.

Through many years of experience in floristry and embroidery, I have mastered the skills and created a range of workshops to teach you these crafts at a beginner-friendly level.
