From the Meadow

I’m Laura, the founder and floral designer behind From the Meadow!My floral journey began over five years ago when I was asked to help bring an event to life. I happily rolled up my sleeves and quickly realised I had found something I truly adored. There was a little bit of magic in taking an armful of beautiful blooms and turning them into something that could brighten a room, transform a celebration and make someone smile.Since then, I’ve curated florals for weddings, engagements, baby showers, bridal showers and many other special occasions. I’ve created everything from bouquets and centrepieces to larger floral arrangements, including for celebrations at Metropolis Events, Immerse Yarra Valley and Panama Dining Room.In 2025, I founded From the Meadow as a way to share that joy with even more people. To me, flowers are much more than decoration—they are a beautiful reminder to pause, celebrate and appreciate how precious life is. My designs are colourful, natural and a little whimsical, and we only ever use premium seasonal flowers and plenty of thoughtful detail.One of my favourite things about teaching is watching people surprise themselves. You don’t need any experience—or even to think of yourself as creative. I’ll guide you through the process, help you trust your instincts and encourage you to create something that feels completely your own!I always say that every bouquet is a unique reflection of its designer. By the end of a workshop, the table is filled with wonderfully different creations, each beautiful because it carries a little of the personality of the person who made it.But the flowers are only part of the experience. I love the warm atmosphere that grows as everyone chats, laughs, creates and cheers one another on. My workshops are relaxed, supportive and designed to leave you feeling happy, confident and inspired. ️Come and spend a little time among the flowers.
