What you'll do
A fused glass party is a fun and creative adult party, perfect if you're looking for 30th birthday ideas in Melbourne, or 40th, 50th and so on! They are also crafty and unique ideas for hens parties in Melbourne, end-of-year parties, and special group parties.
Making a fused glass piece is a novel, exciting and creative experience. With our trained and friendly staff, everyone will feel comfortable and will make a piece that they are delighted with and can later take home.
Fusing glass involves taking a base piece of glass and creating a glass design on it with smaller pieces of glass. The two layers of glass are then fired in a kiln and the glass can be fired smooth or textured. Participants can also choose to shape their glass design into either a flat plate or a dish. The pieces will be left and fired later and can be picked up in about 10 days after the party.
Typically, our glass fusing adult parties are two-and-a-half to three hours long. The glass fusing part of the party runs for about two hours. You can bring food and drinks to the party and socialise, eat and drink at the end of the activity. These parties can be run at our studio which is a cool, arty space or at your premises.
We can accommodate up to 30 people in one space and also have three additional rooms if you want to hire the studio for a large event (64 working spaces). We have a lovely courtyard for participants if you wish to use it and on a nice day or evening, you can eat in the courtyard. There is a minimum of nine adults for a private party.
We also run glass fusing events for corporate groups which are perfect if you're looking for fun team building activities in Melbourne because the process is unique and the end result very beautiful.
Knowledge required
No knowledge required. We will teach you everything you need to know to make a beautiful piece.
What you'll get
Everyone will keep their fused glass piece, which can be picked up approximately 10 days after the party.
What to bring
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks if you choose. You will need to bring table cloths, cutlery, plates and everything you need to set the table. We have a small fridge and freezer which can hold a reasonably sized ice-cream cake or birthday cake. We have a microwave oven (no oven).

We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations.
