What you'll do
Tired of getting those lush new plants home and watching them fade away? In this 90-minute workshop, you will learm some simple and handy skills to plant herbs and flowers and keep them thriving in any sized space!
Flowers and herbs add delightful colour and fragrance to the garden and home and who doesn't love fresh herbs in the kitchen?
During this beginner's workshop, we will look at different kinds of flowers and herbs that you can grow at home as well as learn how to transplant seedlings to containers. You will receive advice on how to plant, grow and maintain healthy plants.
You will select up to three flower or herb seedlings or a mix of both. Then with guidance, you will be potting up to three plants together in a 200mm pot to take home and enjoy. You will receive instructions to care for your new plants and harvest your herbs as well as gain the knowledge and confidence to transplant and maintain new plants.
There are many benefits to having your own supply of fresh herbs, and flowers will add a welcome splash of colour and life to your space. So come along for a relaxed morning of planting!
As well as taking home your flower and herb planting there will be additional plants available for purchase on the day.
