You’ll learn how to draw on natural silk in a group of your friends at your own venue. You’ll enjoy the result and feel proud that you’ve created a unique accessory in gorgeous colours!

It doesn’t matter if you've never painted before. This five-hour DIY workshop is interesting for complete beginners and experienced artists and makes a creative meditation if you’re looking for fun things to do in Melbourne with friends, family, or even just yourself.

During this relaxing session, your teacher Tatiana will teach you all the tips and tricks necessary to create a gorgeous scarf made of natural silk. You will be able to completely disconnect and dive yourself into the process.

Choose from the provided mandalas or botanical patterns, select your favourite colours, draw the outline with a magic glass tube, and create your own unique scarf using cold batik dyes.

After your work of art is ready, Tatiana will steam it to fix the dyes in a special device at Tatiana Silky Studio and send it to you by mail the next day. You could wear it yourself or give it to friends with pride and a very special deep feeling!
