What You’ll Do?
In this beautifully paced, beginner-friendly bookbinding class, you’ll learn the foundations of creating a professional-quality hardcover journal.
You’ll learn how to:
  • Measure, cut and prepare cover boards, the spine and spacer
  • Stitch your signatures using a classic bookbinding stitch
  • Glue and assemble a durable, hand-crafted text block
  • Create and design a hardcover case using traditional case-binding methods
  • Attach endpapers and complete the “casing in” process
  • Decorate and personalise your journal using a wide selection of creative materials

Pixie Paper Company is about bringing people together who love to learn new crafts whilst being creative with other like minded friends.
Dedicated to the paper arts, we teach classes on all things paper like: papermaking, vintage crafts, giftwrap, cards, stationery, journal & photo album making, as well as providing classes that promote self-exploration and goal setting as found in our journal writing and vision board classes.

You will be taught by Cherie Ward (me), an extremely experienced paper crafter who has studied book restoration and paper making and has been practicing these crafts for 20 years.
