In the countryside of Shiga, my ancestors spent their lives operating a Ryokan, a traditional Japanese hotel in which they perfected the art of Omotenashi, or, Japanese Hospitality. There, in the outskirts of Japan’s cultural capital Kyoto, my grandparents taught me the culinary arts of cultivation and cuisine. Since moving to Australia in 2012, I’ve used the skills passed down to me to create a balanced and healthy diet, to aid in the healing of my body. And now that I’m certified in Natural Foods, I wish to share my knowledge and experience of historic Japanese dishes with the world!

We had an absolutely awesome experience, worth every cent. Our host was kind, engaging and so much fun to cook with. The food which we all cooked was delicious and everyone loved it, including our fussy 7 year old Son. We would book this again in a heartbeat.
