House of Pocket were one of the first on the small bar scene in Sydney when we opened Pocket Bar Darlinghurst in 2009. Since then, we have opened 4 more venues throughout NSW. All of our venues create a vibe that feels as though we are welcoming guests into our own homes, where they can relax and enjoy good food and drinks.

Our mixologist was great! Yanni was very knowledgeable, engaging and fun. We were a group of 8 and it was the perfect size. While 4 of us were behind the bar, the other 4 observed and then swapped over. 3 plates of finger food served - which was just the right amount of food and very tasty. The class included the making of 2 cocktails and some education on a variety of spirits. Great fun and recommended.

Ross was so much fun. He really made the night. We hung around after and he still kept coming and having a chat even when the cocktail making was finished. Super fun time. I really did not expect to learn as much as I did. It was an amazing start to our night and now I have a bunch of new cocktail making basics up my sleeve now too! Would recommend this class to anyone. Ask for Ross!

Ross was a terrific teacher. Funny, charming, professional and incredibly knowledgeable when it came to making drinks and the history of cocktails.
Everything was personalised and the entire time we were laughing or enjoying our delicious self made drinks.
Would easily recommend this experience to anyone with an interest in how cocktails are made, or someone who enjoys experiencing something new.
All of us had zero experience and were made to feel right at ease with Ross’s guidance and direction.

Ross was a fantastic teacher, so passionate and knowledgeable. Encouraging and generous sharing his knowledge. Really great being able to choose your cocktail and even when unsure we were able to tell Ross a flavour or spirit we liked and we discovered new cocktails to our taste we hadn’t tried before. The bar staff were friendly and we all had a really great time. The venue is cute & small so i'd recommend going in the day time as you all stand around the bar and watch each other make cocktails.
We all had 3 cocktails each and then and it was a great team day out! would recommend :)

Took the Private Cocktail making class with Dylan, who was amazing. Dylan was friendly, patient and kindly receptive. Very knowledgeable and encouraging, which ensured that we had fun while we made and drank our delicious drinks. Stitch Bar is awesome as always. We had snacks with our lesson as well, which helped, as these cocktails be STRONG lol. An overall excellent experience, would recommend to anyone.
