What you'll do
This is an intensive workshop where you will learn comprehensive mosaic skills. You will also experience the magical world of mosaic! Mosaic is a creative, mindful, therapeutic art form and is a joy to experience. In this fun and hands on class you will learn how to make a mosaic from start to finish. You'll get creative working with a range of materials, adhesives, substrates, tiles, and grouts that are used for indoor/outdoor mosaics, as well as learning how to cut glass using mosaic cutters, free hand scorers and a glass cutting system.During the class you'll receive step-by-step how to instructions for how to make your mosaic and pick up knowledge and tips for making indoor/outdoor projects. This class includes all glass and materials for the workshop as well as use of all tools and equipment needed to make a mosaic. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available. If you choose to use some specialty glass there will be an additional charge for that glass, which you can purchase on the day.This is a great workshop for beginners - you will have a structured workshop and will come away with having completed the step-by-step process of making a mosaic for both indoors and out and will have a great first mosaic piece to show for it!

Knowledge required
Appropriate for 12 years plus - This workshop is targeted at people with no mosaic experience, or minimal mosaic experience.
What you'll get
- All glass and materials for the workshop as well as use of all tools and equipment needed to make a mosaic.
- Structured workshop, small class, practical hands-on workshop and attention from instructor.
What to bring
- If possible bring a simple design, such as a bird, butterfly, flower, fish or a relatively simple image that you like. Prepare it to fit a 22cm x 22cm board. Or you can choose from one of our many templates that we have in store.
- Bring a black texta, ruler, pen and pencil.
- Please wear casual clothing and closed shoes.
- If you want to wear safety glasses, you can bring your own or purchase them here online.
Suitable for
This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea, team building activity, Christmas party or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old).
Adult accompaniment is not required.

We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
