Gel Plate Mono-Printing is a relatively new technique that can be used to create artworks, cards, bookmarks, gifts & more!
Join Karelyn for a six-week introduction that will teach you a wide variety of techniques and processes.
Students will learn how to:
  • Make original prints using acrylic paints on the gel plate.
  • Learn a variety of printing techniques using stencils, masks, texture plates, and stamps.
  • Learn simple colour theory.
  • Create multi-layered prints using registration technique.
  • Work with transparent colour layering.
  • Enhance their prints using acrylic paint pens and fine liner.
  • Use finished prints to create bookmarks, gift tags, framed artwork, or collage.
Please note that as this is a Learn Local government-subsidised short course, an enrolment form will be required from eligible participants before they commence. This will be sent to participants via email.
