Have you ever wanted to create your very own abstract artwork but didn’t know where to start? Join this fun painting class with Jo Carroll!
Abstract art is all about letting go, trusting your intuition and allowing your inner expression to come forth. This workshop is ideal for those who crave creativity but may not have the space, materials, knowledge or confidence needed to express themselves on the canvas.
In this five hour workshop, you’ll be guided on how to use a range of materials and techniques to create your very own abstract artwork using professional-quality acrylic paints and mediums.
Class overview:
- An understanding of what materials and tools to use
- How to approach each stage of your painting and build up layers
- Understanding composition, contrast and visual interest
- Develop confident mark-making
- Reviewing, editing and finishing touches
- PLUS loads of fun and the opportunity to let go and enjoy being in the creative moment!
By the end of the class, you can take home your unique original abstract artwork, ready to add a statement to your home.
