5.0 (13)Jacqueline started Ecru back in 2015. A career in Sales and Marketing behind her, a tiny newborn beside her and a design qualification she wasnt sure how to utilise.
She knew she wanted a more mixed up day and the freedom to let her hair go a little wild [see: Curly]. She was also so sleep deprived she wasn't sure if returning to a corporate environment would be the best for her poor, innocent colleagues.
She put everything she had left in her reserves into the slow-build charmer, Ecru Candles.
Today Ecru Candles are a father/daughter team who handpour each candle with care. We aim to provide products to enjoy, and to support local business with quality products to present.
We are now offering workshops! Bite-sized experiences to give you the knowledge to go forth and start making also, or to simply escape the day-to-day and have some fun.

Fabulous class with Jaci, who shared her years of experience and knowledge with us in her studio. The class was small which was great, it meant that everyone was always engaged and involved. I had a lot of fun with a lovely group of women. Worth every cent and you come home with a veritable bounty of gorgeous smelling goodies that you made yourself. Thank you so much Jaci.

This was my first classbento experience and my first time diving into candle making. Jaci was so welcoming and friendly, and her studio was spacious. I had a fabulous time learning about everything involved and I left with some beautiful candles of all styles and a diffuser that I am so happy with :) thank you Jaci for sharing your morning, space and knowledge with me!

Had an amazing time in this class, learnt a lot about candle making and left with beautiful candles and a reed diffuser all with my own choice of scents. Would highly recommend this class!

This class was excellent! Jacqueline has a great setup and I felt very comfortable in the environment.
It was a really fun morning and I learnt a lot from Jacqueline who is very knowledgeable and passionate.
She provided me with all the materials I needed in the class and everything was set up and ready to go.
I love the soaps and candles we made together and I would be very open to do more classes with her in the future.
The class was excellent value and I would highly recommend this class to others.

I had a great time at this class! The teacher, Jacqueline, was super friendly and great at explaining what to do and why it was important. I learnt a lot and made some lovely beeswax candles (and bonus soaps)!
