What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Palm Beach? In this hands-on cooking class is perfect for beginners, you will learn how to make your own traditional bento box!
This is a very special class in which you will learn a bit of everything about Japanese cuisine with Master Japanese Chef Keita. We even have a vegetarian option available.
After the class, you can take a recipe for a variety of authentic Japanese dishes, techniques and basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine. You can eat your own bento box and take home another takeaway Bento for your family or a friend.

- Chicken Karrage or Cauliflower Karrage for Vegetarian(Japanese fried chicken)
- Agedashi Tofu (crispy fried tofu served in flavourful umami sauce)
- Tamagoyaki(Japanese style omelette)

Private class information: We are happy to offer a private class where we come to your home to teach. Please note that in addition to the class fee, a travel fee (Gold Coast $50, Brisbane $60) will be charged for private classes. If hiring a venue is necessary, it's also possible, so please inquire about it.

Your teacher
Keita Kujiura is over 15 years experience professional Japanese chef with passion for spreading charms of Japanese cuisine all over the world.
He started learning Japanese cuisine from 18 years old at a long-established restaurant in Japan.It was then when Keita found his passion for cooking and all things kitchen related.
Since 2015 Keita has moved the main base to Australia from Japan and started working as a sushi chef at popular sushi restaurant in Byronbay.
Nowadays, Keita is teaching his skill and knowledge about Japanese cuisine at cooking class and treating locals to dish by private chef.His aim is promoting Japanese food culture for locals.
