  • 5/5 from Matthew Valvo, attended Jul 2024: Chef Daniel Wilson did an amazing job with the Japanese cooking class, super knowledgeable and professional. I learnt so much and the food was delicious and had lots of laughs too. Thank you for a great experience!!
  • 5/5 from Olivia Redgrove, attended May 2024: Chef Daniel Wilson ran an incredible cooking class which was very educational, and of course taught us how to create some delicious 'Japanese street food' style dishes. A star dish for me was the miso spinach and salmon followed closely by Okonomiyaki. Daniel was very knowledgeable and provided extensive insight into the ingredients we were using, how they are sourced and how to make them as well as why we were integrating them into our dishes. Such a lovely experience that I shared with my partner, very good value for money.
  • 4/5 from Alistair Cockayne, attended May 2024: Great session. Chef Daniel was engaging, entertaining and gave us great food and tips. Nice venue but very hard to see if you're at the back. Also would have liked to have been a little more hands on. Otherwise a great night
  • 5/5 from Joanne Burch, attended Apr 2024: This was a gift for my husband and I for our wedding. Our teacher was impressive- Daniel Wilson executive chef from Yakimono in Melbourne. The venue was intimate and appropriate for the small class size. We could see everything easily. Recipes were provided as well as each individual dish that was cooked. The food was delicious, Daniel was informative- we learnt a lot. We had a great time and would come again. We can recommend this class enough- thank you!
  • 5/5 from Stuart Boyd, attended Feb 2024: Loved the demonstrations by Daniel. The dishes were simple enough that they could be replicated at home and we left with some tips that will improve our own cooking!
  • 5/5 from Stephanie Gigliotti, attended May 2023: Highlight of my year! What an absolute priviledge to watch Chef Daniel in action. So knowledgeable, humble and friendly. Was a masterclass in Japanese cuisine paired with incredible food. What an experience. I highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Will Zhong, attended May 2023: Fantastic night with Daniel and Tracy - learnt heaps of cooking tips and about the restaurant world!
  • 5/5 from Mark Hoang, attended Aug 2022: The teacher and host were friendly, informative, and professional. The venue was well set up and intermate. Felt as though you were invited over to a friend's house for dinner (In this case the friend is a highly skilled chef). The food was all very delicious, and the knowledge and material I took away from the class were well worth the money. We enjoyed the experience so much that we brought Daniel Wilson's cookbook and he even signed it for us. I highly recommend these cooking classes. We will be back in the near future for another cooking class.
  • 5/5 from Tim Hudson, attended Jun 2022: Excellent experience…Daniel was great, a wealth of knowledge & experience shared. Very entertaining, good sense of humour. Great food & sake. Highly recommend.
