Authentic Japanese cuisine is precision and perfection! Are you wanting divine culinary inspiration and fresh,  delicious Japanese dishes? This Brisbane cooking class is a must if you want to confidently cook Japanese meals.
Our Japanese Chef Tong will take you through your paces to help you create three to five dishes on the day. Learn valuable skills to make you unstoppable in your kitchen!
You will not have to prepare an entire meal from scratch on your own, we don't believe you should be peeling vegetables and doing all the hard work but rather be concentrating on gaining new skills. We will not have individual workstations but will work in smaller groups on tasks assigned.
At the end of the cooking lesson, we'll have a Japanese feast and enjoy what we've made. We look forward to having you for your Japanese culinary adventure!
The Japanese Class Menu:
Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy Free available (not available Gluten Free)
  • Make Udon noodles
  • Make Dashi stock
  • Make Gyoza from scratch with pork mince filling, you will learn to perfect the dough and fillings and sauces
  • Aburi Salmon!
VZ Class format is a mixture of demonstration and group cooking practices. Instead of individual work stations, students will work in pairs and cook in groups of 4. And afterwards, enjoy a feast of the meals prepared. Demonstration aspects of classes ensure we cover enough content to make you into a fabulous chef.
Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion. You will not have your own workstation but will work in small groups with some of the lesson being demonstrated, and some of the lesson being hands-on. Please advise us of any dietary requirements in advance! The class is held in a fully licensed venue so you are unable to BYO. 
Note: Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table.
Support Workers, Interpreters, Aids, everyone must book and pay to enter. Please be understanding, due to the layout of the class and safety & enjoyment of all guests, Support Workers must book in too.
