I was a little nervous as I’m not particularly crafty, but the class was easy to follow, relaxed and so much fun. Our lovely teacher from Clewdoodle helped us bring our earring designs to life, and we were both thrilled with the results! The creative workspace is incredible. We also had time to explore the work of other artists, discover workshops such as mosaics, and even attend an art gallery opening after our class. Such a lovely way to spend time together and create something personal. We’ll definitely be back with more design ideas! ️

• 5/5 from Jo Anne, attended Aug 2026: We absolutely LOVED Caitlin’s “Jewellery Making Workshop: Textured Copper Earrings“ & are curious to see what else we could learn how to make! Caitlin’s instructional style is clear, casual, & cheerful. We had a blast getting to know her & have her share her creativity with us. We were glad to discover the different techniques, have a play & practice on our aluminium sheet, design our earrings & make them a copper reality. We even wore one of the pairs out to dinner later that evening! The smaller class size was perfect for this workshop - just remember to pace yourself so you have decent time to work on your actual earrings (we got carried away playing with all the tools, stamps, & techniques. So we rushed a little at the end to finish our pieces). The venue is a shared art space, where you’ll enter the gallery/framer at the front & will need to walk towards the studio spaces at the back. This workshop was a surprise for our friend & was the perfect gift for all of us to get hands-on, get creative, & make something we could keep & enjoy (or share as a hand-made gift)!

We both had a great time and walked away with some lovely earrings. Caitlin is a great teacher, explaining things clearly and patiently helping to unlock creativity even when you don't think you have any.

There was a huge variety of stamps and patterns to choose from, which made it easy to get really creative with my designs. I ended up making both a pendant and a pair of earrings, and the copper metal stamping process was so satisfying to learn. She was incredibly patient and helpful, especially when it came to the technical bits. I also had a specific personal project in mind, and she was so supportive in helping me figure out how to bring my own idea to life. If you’re looking for a relaxed, encouraging space to learn a new skill, I can’t recommend this enough!

I was super-impressed with her manner and preparedness. 26 Advantage Rd (Mulberry)is an awesome venue, full of other artists and they work. Great value and lots of fun!
