Hi, I’m Hieu — the founder of Jubilee Lashes & Beauty in Melbourne.Before entering the beauty industry, I was actually offered a full-time Payroll Specialist role with a $90, 000 salary package. It was considered a stable career path, but deep down, I knew I wanted something different — a life with more freedom, creativity, and most importantly, more time with my little boy.After the COVID pandemic, I started my journey in the beauty industry in 2022. At first, it was simply curiosity and the dream of building something of my own. But very quickly, lashes and brows became more than just beauty services to me — they became a way to help women feel confident, feminine, and beautiful while also creating a flexible lifestyle for myself and my family.I truly believe life is too short to spend all our time chasing traditional careers while missing precious moments with the people we love. Beauty gave me the opportunity to build my own dream, work with passion, and still be present as a mum.What started from a small setup has now grown into Jubilee Lashes & Beauty — a welcoming studio in Melbourne where I specialise in eyelash extensions, Korean lash lift, brow styling, and cosmetic tattooing. I’m especially known for creating soft, natural, wearable beauty that suits real everyday women.One thing I love most about teaching is seeing my students realise they are capable of building their own future too. Many students come to me feeling nervous or unsure, and watching them gain confidence, improve their skills, and start earning from their craft is honestly the most rewarding part of my job.I teach in a very honest and practical way — not just technique, but also real industry knowledge, client communication, social media, marketing, and how to grow a beauty business in Australia. Because I started from zero myself, I understand exactly how overwhelming it can feel in the beginning.Something people may not know is that I built my business while balancing motherhood, long working hours, and learning everything from scratch. I wasn’t born into the beauty industry. I created my own opportunities through hard work, consistency, and passion.Today, I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love every day — helping clients feel beautiful and helping students create a more flexible and independent future for themselves too.
