I've been creating art for as long as I can remember, but my practice has evolved into much more than simply making beautiful images. Today, I'm a mixed media and pop surrealist artist whose work explores storytelling, symbolism, and our connection with the natural world. I love creating pieces that encourage people to slow down, look closely, and discover their own meanings within the layers.My creative process is just as important as the finished artwork. I enjoy experimenting with a wide range of materials and techniques, from painting and printmaking to collage, texture, and surface manipulation. I believe that imperfections and history add character, and I love helping others embrace the unexpected in their own creative journey.Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of being an artist. There's something incredibly special about watching someone realise they are more creative than they ever believed. My workshops aren't about producing identical paintings—they're about building confidence, encouraging experimentation, and creating a relaxed space where people feel free to explore without the fear of making mistakes. Whether someone has never picked up a paintbrush or has years of experience, I want them to leave feeling inspired and excited to keep creating.One thing many people don't know about my work is just how much symbolism is hidden within it. Animals, botanicals, historical references, and decorative details are carefully chosen to tell stories beneath the surface. I love creating artworks that continue to reveal new discoveries the longer you spend with them.As a practising professional artist, I've spent years developing my techniques and exhibiting my work while continually expanding my knowledge through experimentation and research. Every workshop I teach is shaped by my own studio practice, giving students an authentic insight into the creative process—not just how to make art, but how to think like an artist.My greatest hope is that every person who joins one of my workshops leaves with more than a finished artwork. I want them to rediscover the joy of creating, trust their own instincts, and realise that creativity isn't about perfection—it's about curiosity, play, and finding your own voice.
