What you'll do
Learn how to design, decorate, and create your very own brekky set in this fun and interactive workshop for kids. Join us and make a funky and cute mug and bowl so you can enjoy your favorite cereal and hot chocolate. With the guidance of your teacher, you will learn various decorating techniques and how to work with beautiful gritty clay, which will give your pieces a gorgeous grainy texture. We will finish them off with a natural white glaze, making them pieces you'll cherish for a lifetime.
During the class, you'll have the opportunity to personalize your brekky set by adding your name or a special message. Plus, if you bring a friend, you can create, create, create together! Clay is not only a great way to learn a new skill, but it's also a perfect activity for spending quality time with friends.
During the class, we aim to alleviate any fears or concerns you may have. You don't need any prior experience, just a keen interest in learning something new. We'll provide all the necessary materials and guide you step by step through the process.
At the end of the workshop, we will quality-check your finished pieces and fire them twice to ensure their durability. If needed, we'll also sand them for a smooth finish before applying the glaze. Your personalized brekky set will be ready for collection approximately 2.5 weeks after the workshop date.
This workshop is suitable for kids aged 8 and above who are independent, enjoy following instructions, and love a challenge. It's a great opportunity to learn a new skill, spend quality time with friends, and create something unique together.
