In this class, you will be guided through the step-by-step process of painting your own platter by an expert. Get in touch with your inner artist and relax as you design a unique pattern and connect with like-minded people.
Whether you're looking for team building ideas or you just want to indulge yourself, this live ceramic painting class could be a great pick for you. You'll finish with a new piece to add to your kitchenware collection and new skills too!
Please note:
- You will need to leave your finished piece in the studio for glazing and firing .
- Please allow 14 days for the firing and glazing process. You can then pick up your piece from the studio in Sydney or it can be sent back to you via courier at your own expense.
- These pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe.
- A greenware Earthenware dinner platter
- All underglaze paints needed
- Instructions on how to paint and design your platter.

Tennyson Studio is my Ceramic Art and Paint N Sip Studio in Gladesville in Sydney. I took up ceramics and acrylic painting workshops as a hobby back in 1996, did US Ambassadors Ceramics Course with Duncan in 1998 and upon quitting my fulltime job, opened my studio in 2001.
We have been creating and inspiring anyone who has never painted before to unwind, create, and paint for the joy and therapeutic benefits. We are all about enjoying the experience with us especially if you have never painted or worked with ceramics before.
Our Introduction class session is a great way to see if you would like to join us in a course. We also offer kids and adult birthday parties, hens parties, corporate team bonding, school holiday workshops and kids art classes.
