Weave your group or team together for your next event or join a public class. Discover the art of macrame and clay hand building in this dynamic and engaging double workshop half-day retreat. In this half day retreat (4 hours) you will learn the basic techniques of macrame and clay hand building, and create stunning macrame plant hanger and handcrafted clay pot to take home.The first workshop will consist of by step macrame lesson to craft the plant hanger. You will master the art of square knot, bead mounting and wrapping knot to create a stunning hanger for your favorite plant. After a short break we will move into the pottery lesson to use textured material, moulds and clay hand building technique to craft a pot. Don't worry if you've never tried macrame or hand building before - this workshop is designed for beginners and no prior experience is required. Our knowledgeable and friendly instructors, Sarah and Wendy, will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel confident in your abilities and excited about the creative possibilities that lie ahead.By the end of the retreat, you'll not only have two one-of-a-kind pieces to showcase in your home, but you'll also have gained new skills, friendships, and a sense of accomplishment.
