What you'll do

Bring your Daughters, Mum and Nan and Immerse yourself in the art of macrame to create matching plant hangers this mothers day. Suitable for ages 8 years plus.

In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to create your very own stunning macrame plant hanger to add a touch of bohemian to your space. Our experienced instructor guide you through the step by step, that even beginners feel and inspired.

Throughout the workshop, you'll work with high-quality materials and learn valuable techniques that will allow you to continue your macrame journey at home. The soothing rhythm of knotting and crafting with your hands is sure to leave you feeling calm and accomplished by the end of the class.

When the workshop concludes, you'll proudly take home your unique macrame creation and take home notes setting the stage for more creative endeavors in the future.

The hanger is crafted to fit a pot. BYO pot or purchase one to be supplied as an add on.

Class includes tea for adults and a juice popper for kids. Other beverages and snacks are available for purchase from the onsite cafe.

This class is also available for private bookings for groups

The Bohemian Acadamy of Arts and Crafts is a creative studio teaching macrame workshops. Workshops are run at my studio in Currumbin Valley 2 scenic 20 minutes drive from Burleigh Heads.

I am small business owner with a big heart, passionate about bringing creative community together to relax, create and connect. With a background as a school teacher my creative teaching Curriculum and teaching methods are perfectly crafted for beginners. I am passionate about guiding beginners on their journey to create high quality products and enjoy the creative process.

I offer a range of classes, specializing in pottery and macrame with public and private event options.
