Make & Mingle — Bring Your Own Project
That creative project you’ve been meaning to start, finish, or simply spend some time on? Bring it along.
Make & Mingle is a relaxed Sunday morning where women can step away from the busyness of everyday life and enjoy two hours of uninterrupted creative time. Bring whatever you love to create: knitting, crochet, painting, drawing, journalling, embroidery, scrapbooking, sewing, craft, or something completely different. You’ll have the space and time to work on your project while enjoying a cuppa, a chat, and the company of other women.
There’s no pressure to be productive, finish something, or be “good” at what you do. It’s simply about making time for yourself and doing something that feels good.
What you’ll get from coming along:
  • Dedicated time to do something for yourself
  • Space to be creative without distractions
  • Connection and conversation with other women
  • A relaxed, welcoming Sunday morning
  • Time to slow down and recharge
  • The opportunity to rediscover a hobby or creative interest
  • A break from the usual demands of work, family, and life
Come with a project. Leave with a little more time for yourself.
Make & Mingle
Make something. Meet people. Take time for you.

Creative Healing
Creative Healing

female Women-owned

I’m Sally Tyrrell, the owner of Creative Healing, and my journey into art therapy and mental health support started from a deep belief in the power of creativity to heal. I’ve always been passionate about art and creativity, and when I discovered how it could be a bridge to help people express, process, and transform their emotional experiences, I knew I had found my calling. After years of working in government roles, I took the leap to open my own space where creativity and healing could truly come together—and I’ve never looked back.
I absolutely love teaching because it allows me to share the tools that have helped so many people reconnect with themselves. There’s nothing quite like witnessing someone realize they have the ability to create something meaningful, whether it's through a piece of art, an insight in therapy, or a moment of calm at a retreat. The beauty of creative expression is that it's accessible to everyone, and helping others discover their own power through creativity is endlessly rewarding for me.
Something people may not know is that I left a secure government job to follow my passion, opening my own studio to offer something I believe the world needs: a creative space to explore emotions and find community.
Since then, I’ve built Creative Healing into a thriving practice, offering 1:1 therapy, corporate creative well-being workshops, and creative retreats that inspire people to connect, create, and heal. I’ve been in private practice for seven years, and earlier this year, I hired my first staff member—a sign of our growth and commitment to providing quality care.
I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Art Therapist, with years of experience helping people of all ages navigate life’s challenges. I’ve had the pleasure of working with schools, companies, and individuals through workshops and retreats, and I truly believe that creativity has the power to make a difference. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with yourself, build resilience, or simply spend a few days in a beautiful setting exploring your creativity, I invite you to join us. Let's create something wonderful together.
