Knowledge required
This class is perfect for beginners.

What you'll get in your craft kit
  • One small glass candle jar
  • One small metal candle travel container with lid (bonus addition)
  • Two soy melt molds
  • Two tea light candle containers
  • One small oil burner with tea light candle
  • One small soap mold
  • One scrub jar
  • One bath salt jar
  • Access to a digital workbook with all step-by-step instructions

You will be sent a candle, soap, and scrub/bath salts-making kit which will include:
  • Equipment kit: soy wax, small jar, tea light containers, soy melt container, wicks, sticky dots, wick holding stick, assorted potpourri including lavender, shells, and fragrance, plus a lovely oil burner.
  • Melt and Pour Soap Kit: soap base, small soap mold, fragrance, and potpourri for decorating
  • Scrub/Bath Salt Kit: Jar with lid, assorted dried ingredients including Epsom salts, sugar, magnesium.
What you'll need
  • Have your workbook and materials ready to commence on time.
  • Access to a microwave.
  • Access to a carrier oil (if you want to make the bath scrub), e.g., coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, etc. A small jar of coconut oil from a supermarket is great. You only need a few teaspoons. These will be used in your bath scrub, so if you prefer to keep the ingredients dry and only make the bath salts, you do not need this ingredient.
  • Buy a small bottle of isopropyl alcohol (sold at Office Works and Bunnings) as we use this to spray onto soap to remove bubbles (it is an option and not necessary for your first class).

At the Crafters Kitchen, we love everything creative! With backgrounds in behavioural psychology, we started running craft classes in 2010 to offer a way for our holistic psychology students to unwind, relax and spend time in creation mode. Since then, we have expanded to offer a range of craft classes in regional areas across Australia and in-person workshops on the Gold Coast.

Scroll down ↓↓ to see what classes are currently on offer, however come back regularly as we are always adding classes!

With our passion for all things craft and cuisine (including new cooking classes on the horizon) we look forward to introducing others to the joys of crafting and even helping them turn their skills into a small business.

For those who can't make it to our in-person workshops, we also offer a variety of DIY craft kits that can be shipped anywhere in Australia and you can join either a live session or enjoy our and pre-recorded step-by-step training videos.

Whether you're looking for a new hobby or just some fun, our craft classes are the perfect way to relax and explore your creativity.
