Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I’ve always loved crafting by hand — as a little girl, I designed and hand-sewed clothes for my dolls. Over 20 years ago, I began teaching myself leathercraft, and eight years ago, I received formal training and started working in high-end leather goods through private custom orders.While I’ve enjoyed creating bespoke pieces for clients, what truly excites me is the energy and joy of teaching in person. Many of my students tell me they walk in nervous but leave feeling confident, relaxed, and inspired.I’m based in Melbourne and have taught hundreds of students over the years. I’m skilled in both Japanese and French leathercraft techniques, though I have a particular preference for the French style. I find deep satisfaction in crafting leather pieces with the care and precision of a traditional French artisan — much like those in the ateliers of Hermès, where timeless design and masterful technique come together.I believe that high-quality materials, refined craftsmanship, and dedicated time are what it takes to create something truly exceptional — a piece that can last a lifetime.
