After the workshop, your wax ring will be professionally cast in solid silver or gold. The casting and finishing process typically takes around 3–4 weeks before your ring is ready for collection or shipping.
Q: Can I add gemstones to my ring?
Yes! Optional gemstones are available on the day for an additional cost (usually $5–$10 depending on size). During the workshop, we will show you how to set the stone directly into your wax design before it is cast.
Q: What if I make a mistake while carving my ring?
Don’t worry - wax is very forgiving to work with. Our instructors will guide you through the process and help adjust or refine your design if needed.
Q: Can I make something other than a ring?
Yes, simple pendants or small designs may also be possible depending on the complexity. Feel free to bring reference photos and we can discuss what is achievable during the workshop.
Q: Can this ring be made in gold instead of silver?
Yes, your design can be cast in 9ct or 18ct gold instead of silver. The final price will depend on the weight of the design and the metal chosen.
