Draw, trace or sketch your idea onto tracing paper, ready to transfer onto the linoblock.
Transfer and Carve
Once you are happy with your sketch, we will transfer onto the linoblock and the carving can begin.
Ink and Stamp
When you are happy with your process and ready to do a test print, we will roller ink or use an ink pad and see your design hand-printed onto paper.

Nicole Soden, Up the Hill Art is my printmaking space based in Upwey, at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Where I focus on teaching beginner-friendly workshops and support students to learn traditional relief printmaking techniques and enjoy the tactile process of making by hand. My workshops are designed to be welcoming and supportive, encouraging students to slow down, experiment with mark making, and experience the joy of hand-printed art.
