I originally trained as an occupational therapist and have always had a passion for health. I value good quality, clean nutrition as well as natural medicine where possible. When I discovered the art of making sourdough bread, I knew this was a skill that needed to be passed on. I love teaching and allowing hands-on opportunities to practice and consolidate skills while having fun and building community and friendships.

Megan was an excellent instructor and it was a wonderful day!
I have walked away from the class feeling really confident with continued success making sourdough. She also provides ongoing support should we need it.
The setting in Megan’s home was really comfortable and welcoming. The refreshments and food provided were also great. Thanks Megan for a really great day!

This sourdough bread course was awesome despite the many things you had to bring, and forgetting to bring a bowl was not a problem since there were extra tools onsite. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxing and overall fantastic. There was tea and homemade food available to enjoy and lunchtime was grand; a platter filled with fruit, crackers, dips, you name it. Everything was delicious. Baking was made easy by the teacher, Megan, and she was very skilled and knew exactly what she was doing. Everyone was kind and helpful, always offering to assist if any complicatons arose. Overall, this was a very entertaining and educational workshop that I would definitely recommend to friends.

Megan was a fantastic teacher whose passion for health, nutrition and great food shone through. The hands on workshop was brilliant, but just as good was the post workshop support and continued advice. P.S. my sourdough turned out delicious!

Very good hands on workshop to obtain incentive and confidence to embark on sour dough journey. Tutor presented very well, was informative and helpful to participants. It was a welcoming social atmosphere with a nice lunch and tasting treats provided. We took our “dough baby’s” home to bake and enjoy which was very satisfying as well as yeast starter and workbook so all set to practice the art!
