classes: Print Making

Handcrafted, Locally Rooted, and Printed with Purpose
Working with traditional tools and techniques is at the core of what we do. For us, creating by hand is more than a method — it’s a mindset. We've always believed in the value of making over buying, and in the quiet satisfaction that comes from crafting something meaningful with your own two hands.
One of the central practices we teach is linocut printmaking — a tactile, meditative process where each image is carved by hand into linoleum and then printed using traditional relief techniques. No two prints are ever the same, and that’s exactly what we love: the uniqueness, the imperfections, the story held in every line.
Our workshops are built around the mindfulness of making, encouraging each person to slow down, explore, and find joy in traditional craftsmanship. Whether it’s your first time carving or your fiftieth print, the focus is always on process, presence, and personal expression.
Sustainability is a vital part of our practice. All of our linoleum is sourced from environmentally responsible suppliers. The paper we use comes from local mills here in Melbourne, many of which prioritise recycled materials and sustainable forestry practices. We also work closely with local makers and suppliers to ensure our tools and materials align with our values of low-impact, community-focused creativity.
In every workshop, we aim to pass on not only a skill, but a deeper appreciation for craft, care, and conscious making.
