What you'll do
Come and discover the magic of printmaking with Emilie at Couleur!
Milk carton etching is an easy, eco-friendly accessible technique of printmaking that doesn’t require a press, chemicals or expensive copper or zinc plates.
In this workshop, you will learn how to design an image for printmaking, engrave your milk carton plate, ink it, and then make your own limited edition of prints with a pasta maker. You can’t do it any more DIY than that!
Milk carton etching is a great way to learn about the basics of printmaking using an environmentally friendly method of up-cycling. You will leave this workshop with your own limited edition of prints.
Please note: Classes at Couleur are capped at six people, however private bookings where your teacher will travel to you are capped at 20 people.
Knowledge required
Absolute beginner-friendly class, no prior skills or knowledge required. You can't draw? This class is for you!

Hi, my name is Emilie Walsh and I'm an artist and educator. I run Couleur, a small printmaking studio in Collingwood (Naarm/Melbourne). Come and learn block printmaking with me: my classes are fun, engaging and adapted to all levels!
