Hi, I’m Kirsty, Makeup Artist and founder of MKUP.I started my makeup career at 16, studying on the Gold Coast in 2009 before stepping straight into the beauty industry. Since then, I’ve built more than 15 years of experience working with clients, brands and creatives across events, bridal, photoshoots, campaigns and creative collaborations.Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Crystal Hefner, work as a makeup artist for Rimmel London AU during their Gold Coast brand tours over the past six years, and spend the past seven years backstage as a makeup and tanning artist for FMG and other bodybuilding and fitness federations. My work has also been published in MOEVIR Magazine Paris, alongside many years collaborating with professional photographers, models and other creatives.What I love most about makeup is that every face is different. Understanding your features, eye shape and colour theory can completely change the way you approach your makeup, and often it’s a few simple techniques that make the biggest difference.That’s why I created Makeup & Sip: to share what I’ve learned throughout my career in a way that feels relaxed, social and easy to understand. I love helping people discover what actually works for their own eyes, make more sense of the makeup they already own, and leave feeling more confident within themselves and with their makeup application.
