Learn about the fundamentals of modern hand embroidery and discover the therapeutic art of stitching in the intimate and relaxing workshop. Libby will take you through a series of her favourite embroidery stitches and techniques so that you can progress on to complete an embroidery pattern from her new book.
You will be provided will all materials you will need for the workshop, some surprise treats and a copy of Libby's new book.

While Thread Folk began as an Instagram page where Libby would field commissions to create cross-stitching portraits for people all over the world, it has since evolved into an embroidery movement. Libby shares her love of embroidery by making modern embroidery patterns and kits, hoping to inspire others to fall in love with therapeutic stitching time.
The Windsor Workshop is a creative hub for the arts, crafts and design movement. We host workshops and events that inspire, and we actively seek local Melbourne artists to work with and promote. We’re all about providing a social gathering for people to slow down, team up, and get talking.
