Hi! We're Brady & Janine, the husband & wife duo behind toniq dance. We met through West Coast Swing & are now parents of 3 girls, aged 6, 3 & <1. Settling down to start our family led us to take a step back from the Dance that we love. Brady got into Real Estate... Janine reskilled from Accounting to Midwifery... But, we found our way back to teaching West Coast Swing in 2023. Brady started dancing aged 16. He opened his first studio aged 18, studied Dance in the USA at 21 & returned as Australia's highest qualified West Coast Swing professional. At one stage, Brady managed classes in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Auckland & Wellington, touring to teach in each of those as well as being highly sought-after to teach Workshops, judge and perform at studios & events across Australasia & southeast Asia. "Allstar" West Coast Swing Competitor, experienced in Ceroc-Modern Jive, Ballroom & Latin, having dabbled in vintage Swing & Rock'n'Roll, Salsa & Bachata, & even trained in Ballet, Brady is a Golden State Dance Teacher's Association (USA) Registered certified Instructor & former Member of the International Dance Council (CID - UNESCO).We love to teach, be it our regular weekly Group Classes, Private Lessons, Teacher Training or Workshops, we enjoy seeing students grow in skill, confidence & self-expression on the Dancefloor!
