  • 5/5 from Caroline Shallick, attended Sep 2026: A very busy class but teachers were all over it. Process was easy and looking forward to filling in the beadwork with plaster of Paris? Plenty of tile and bead colours to choose from.
  • 5/5 from Ece, attended Sep 2026: We had a great time making our own mosaic lamps. The space is charming, the staff helpful and guided us really well and the best part (aside from taking the lamps home) was the turkish apple tea and delights. My husband and I also had two cups of their turkish coffee which was brewed to perfection. Highly recommend for a date night, something fun with friends or family.

  • 5/5 from Melanie Thew, attended Sep 2026: I've done the turkish lamp class previously but with a different studio and this one was 100% better. A lovely space, great people running it, really good value for money. Just a great morning
  • 5/5 from Joanne Messenger, attended Sep 2026: Fun class with beautiful teachers. Golden buzzer
  • 5/5 from Karen, attended Sep 2026: Fun class with an extremely helpful teacher. Thank you!
  • 4/5 from Jill Miller, attended Sep 2026: I don’t think they checked people to see what they were doing or needed
  • 4/5 from Wendy Reilly, attended Sep 2026: Very achievable activity! I was scared that I couldn’t do it!!
  • 4/5 from Gillian Thompson-Rogers, attended Sep 2026: Have different colour powders to add to the plaster of Paris to finish the piece. The white is not good if you opt for stronger coloured tiles and beads.
  • 3/5 from Georgia Allen, attended Sep 2026: Although this ended up being fun and I enjoyed the result, I found the first hour of the class confusing, overwhelming and disorganised. When everyone had their kits, there was no instruction straight away on how to begin, so everyone started having a go putting the tiles on a pattern sheet provided and entertaining themselves (which turned out to be wrong for most of us). We were then given instructions after about 10 minutes of waiting but not really told how exactly we were meant to get the tiles from our pattern onto the lamp or candle holder. That part in particular felt confusing and frustrating, it would've been nice to have the instructor walking around giving feedback and checking in. We were then told about how to put some tiles around the top of the item (which would've been nice to hear earlier, before placing other tiles, as this became cluttered and unsymmetrical). If we'd heard this first, before placing the main pattern, it would've helped to mirror the patterns around the item. Then we moved onto the beads, which was the most enjoyable part by far. This section, and the information on how to grout was well done. I enjoyed the final product and spending time with my friends doing something different, but wish there'd been clearer instructions earlier in the class and more instructor involvement.
  • 5/5 from Sharna Fitzpatrick, attended Aug 2026: It was a great class to attend, really enjoyed making my lamp
  • 5/5 from Darlene Lau, attended Aug 2026: Had a wonderful time here with my bestie. What an experience! We walked in thinking this would be so therapeutic, but crashed out 100 times during the process because of our perfectionism However, still a 10/10 experience and I'd recommend this workshop to anyone who want to feel creative Sissi was incredibly helpful and clear with her instructions too!
  • 5/5 from Jessica Randall, attended Aug 2026: Very friendly instructor who gave clear instructions and helpful tipa for improving design. Lovely calm atmosphere in the studio. Fun couple of hours creating the mini table lamp. Requires adding resin to the glass at home as glue takes hours to fully dry before application of this. Pomegranate tea and Turkish coffee was delicious.
  • 5/5 from Douglas McGowan, attended Aug 2026: Heaps of fun. Friendly staff who were very helpful. The turkish tea and turkish delights were a nice touch as well! Might have overdone the plaster a bit, but still happy with the result!

There were a few people still finishing up at the conclusion of the class time but they were allowed to finish up and weren’t rushed at all.
  • 5/5 from Gayathry Ajithkumar, attended Aug 2026: Such a wonderful experience! The 2.5-hour Turkish Lamp Making Class was very interesting, engaging, and enjoyable from start to finish. • 5/5 from Joy da Costa, attended Aug 2026: Teacher was very patient and informative. Lots of fun. Definitely recommend
  • 4/5 from Elizabeth Pringle, attended Aug 2026: Initially, we went to the wrong class, as there is a very similar one on William St, just down the road. It was a good class with good materials. My only issue was that the class was advertised from 6pm - 8:30pm, but we were hurried out just after 8.00pm. The teacher was friendly, encouraging and helpful, especially for my 12-and 13-year-old grandchildren. The class could be enhanced by providing colour designs and patterns. We had templates for shapes, but some of us wanted more guidance on colour schemes.
  • 2/5 from Belinda Tonkin, attended Aug 2026: Hi there. I gave a lot of thought whether to write a review or not but I think it’s important to give feedback. My daughter and I attended for something fun to do together. I feel the session was structured and a little unorganised. You received your item whether it was the lamp or the candle holder and then a few instructions on what to do. I don’t believe the beads with the correct beads, nor do I feel we received the correct glue or grout to complete the product. After spending all that money it is still sitting in the box. I bought it home in.. I certainly would not sign up to do this again. It was not a cheap class and I think you can afford to get the correct glass beads to ensure a beautifully finished product.
  • 5/5 from Stephanie O'Collins, attended Jul 2026: I was able to use a gift card for this class easily, it was brilliant as usual. I have painted a plate and made a tea light mosaic holder before. This was the Turkish mosaic lamp. The instructors were helpful and showed us step by step. They went to each table at a time. We were given Turkish Apple tea and a piece of Turkish delight. There were sufficient mosaic tiles and beads. We were able to ask for more if we needed them. We were able to take home extra if we needed them. There were clear instructions about allowing the glue to set and plastering our mosaic. We also received a box with additional instructions, plaster and tools. I look forward to finishing my lamp and putting it together.
  • 5/5 from Daniela Ceravolo, attended Jul 2026: I really enjoyed the class, we were treated so kindly, the instructions were clear and we were given lots of freedom for creativity. I will recommend this class to friends. My only feedback was when I called to ask for directions on how to get there nobody returned my call.

  • 4/5 from Nicole Payne, attended Jun 2026: I loved this, it was really fun. I would have preferred a bit more guidance on how best to use the materials.
