Out teacher was great, so patient and hands on giving tips and advice at every point so that all of us came out with beautiful pieces. My daughter and I found the whole experience worthwhile and stress free, it was a very calming experience something she needed as a new mum and her birthday treat.

It was great being able to practice on a board to experiment with colours and develop skills. Great for us as a group of 6 as everyone got to see how each was doing. She helps with the ‘hair dryer’ and guides you to make the perfect effect. A great no stress class!

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it easy to feel comfortable even as a beginner. Everything was explained clearly step-by-step, so we never felt overwhelmed, and there was plenty of guidance throughout the process. What I loved most was the creative freedom — choosing colours, patterns, and watching it all come together was really satisfying. It was also surprisingly therapeutic and a nice way to switch off and focus on something hands-on. I walked away with a beautiful, unique board that I’m genuinely proud of. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone wamting to try something creative, whether you’re a complete beginner or just want a fun, relaxing activity.

It was great being able to practice on the smaller board first, then move onto the bigger board. Carolyn explains everything really well and we weren’t left wondering what to do. She took the time to take us step by step through the process of how to effectively and properly make our ocean style resin boards turn out beautifully. I liked most how she showed us how to do each step on the practice board and then let our creative and imaginative sides show as we got hands on into the experience ourselves. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us all, and I would 100% recommend taking this class with her!

Although I went by myself I was not alone, being among a group of nice women and I felt comfortable. Caroline was extremely helpful and patient with us especially as she was a little unwell. She explained everything thoroughly with easy to follow instructions and gave enthusiastic encouragement! The studio space was excellent with plenty of space, light and ample materials.
