Recent reviews of Paint a Big Canvas Cow Girl Class
- 5/5 from Laura Cross, attended Jul 2026: Painting is my happy place where the world disappears for awhile and I can forget about everything else and be creative. Learning to use a catalyst wedge applying paint with a pallette knife and modelling paste then removing and pushing around the paint creates such a beautiful finish. I love working with the various tools to create a different finish to just using a brush. Senorita Nikki is such a wonderful teacher, who supports you with clear instructions and is painting with you, so you can pshically see what and how she brings the paint to life. She is generous with her time and in supporting you through the whole process. The studio is so fully immersive with all the best quality paints, materials and tools you need to bring your painting to life. It is bright, warm and cosy especially for this time of the year in the hills. The studio leadlight windows and chandeliers are so dreamy and pretty, with plenty of room to work. Such a vibe and so inviting and relaxing. It draws you in and allows you to fully immerse into bringing your inner artist to life. I love seeing the other students working, creating and sharing as we uplifting each other celebrate our finish pieces of artwork. It is such a wonderful warming experience that I highly recommend to others who want to give this a try. You definately wont be disappointed.
Your teacher
The Senoritas' Art Workshop started in 2019 when Nikki Carter invited 5 friends to come to a full day workshop who had never painted. They all painted amazing paintings and proved that all you need is an Art Guide or Instructor to help you with each step of the painting and someone to help make you brave! Nikki paints every day, working with students and commissions, her passion for painting, colour and fun inspires first-time painters. Nikki finds that astonishing results are achieved from people that don't think they can draw or paint!
