What you'll do
Legends say hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hope for love, joy, and celebration. So treat yourself and bring a friend to learn step by step how to paint this magnificent painting in a beautiful Garden Studio in Monbulk. A full day of fun includes Paella, Sangria, and bubbles too!In this beginner-friendly class, a friendly art instructor will guide you step by step on how to create a dramatic abstract background first. Then you will learn how to draw the outline and build the layers of colour using heavy-bodied acrylic paint to create the feathers.Get hands-on and learn how to mix colours and create depth with light and shade. Maybe you want to paint something fabulous as a gift!Paint your way through to lunch, which will be our famous Spanish Paella (Vegetarian available). Sip on your choice of bubbles or some sangria to get the creative juices flowing for the rest of the class. You'll also get to listen and groove to some classic Latin tunes too!At the end of this class, you'll have your very own completed hummingbird artwork to display in your home and admire. The photos show you the results that you can achieve at this workshop even if you are a first-time painter!Please note:
- Minimum of six students for the class to proceed. If we don't get enough numbers, we will contact you to reschedule.
- You have the option to turn your finished artwork into a greeting card with your name on the back of each card. Please contact your teacher for pricing.
