What you'll do
Celebrate International Women's Day with fabulous paint and sip class in Monbulk where you'll create portraits of brave, strong and resilient women! Senorita Amy Winehouse is a favourite of ours, her life was fast and furious and her beautiful music still lives on.
Treat yourself or a loved one to a crafternoon filled with fun laughter, painting, eating drinking and more at Senoritas' Art Workshop!
In this beginner-friendly class, an art instructor will be painting this image and showing you step by step how to create a dramatic abstract portrait of Senorita Amy Winehouse. You will learn how to draw the outline, build the skin tone with layers of colour using heavy bodied acrylic paint and create textured flowers using a palette knife.
Get hands-on and learn how to mix colours and create depth with light and shade! Maybe you want to paint something fabulous as a special gift!
Beginning mid-morning, you'll paint your way through to lunch and indulge in a wonderful Spanish Paella and sip on Sangria to keep those creative juices flowing. You'll finish off the afternoon with Latin tunes and the final touches to Senorita Amy Winehouse!
Everything is supplied, so all you need to do is bring along your enthusiasm and a keenness to learn!

The Senoritas' Art Workshop started in 2019 when Nikki Carter invited 5 friends to come to a full day workshop who had never painted. They all painted amazing paintings and proved that all you need is an Art Guide or Instructor to help you with each step of the painting and someone to help make you brave! Nikki paints every day, working with students and commissions, her passion for painting, colour and fun inspires first-time painters. Nikki finds that astonishing results are achieved from people that don't think they can draw or paint!
