VERY IMPAWTANT! Email Your Pet Photo
When you make your booking, email a photo of your pet so we can prepare your canvas with an outline ready for you to paint. A head shot or close up facing forward body shot is best for this class. Please make sure your photo is high quality - the better the photo, the better your final artwork!
Send your photo along with your name and your pet's name, and the date of your workshop.
Lets Paint
We will start the class by painting in your background. While it is drying there will be a painting demonstration to show some basic blending and shading techniques.
Progress Your Portrait
We will be using acrylic paint to create your artwork, on hand help will be offered throughout the class if you need it.
You Have Created a PAWsterpiece
By the end of the class you will have created a stunning portrait of your pet in your own unique style!

Helen is a fabulous teacher, demonstrating everything before walking around the class to ensure we all understood, as well as giving helpful advice on colour and helping with any tricky markings on our pets. I was blown away by the outcome of all the different painting - we all nailed it! I’ve come away with some new skills that I am already using on my own paintings. The upstairs creative space at House of Handmade was the perfect size for us to work on our creations, and I had a great time exploring the shop after the class. I’ll be back for more workshops.
