The teacher was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so many interesting insights about perfumery throughout the course. We had plenty of opportunities to smell, explore, and choose different oils, and then create our own personalised perfumes, which was a real highlight. The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, and attention was given to everyone. What truly stood out was the dedication of the teacher, who stayed an extra 45 minutes after class to provide individual assistance and make sure everyone was happy with their final creation. I highly recommend this course — it’s a wonderful gift idea and a great way to extend your perfume knowledge while having fun.

Two and a half hours of the workshop isn't enough to learn the theory and properly consider notes for yourself when developing your signature scent. Also, options were limited (eg. my favourite musk was unavailable). At the end, the teacher kindly managed to put together a fragrance for me, which I am grateful for

She not only walks you through how to make the perfume, she does a great crash course on the neuroscience of the senses, the chemistry of perfume, and historical context on aromatics use over the ages/cultures. Great balance of theory and hands-on practice. I experienced sensory and decision making overload during the class. She was incredibly patient and understanding which made a huge difference. You get to keep an Eau de Parfum and an Eau de cologne (which you will get to learn about during the history lesson). Can’t wait to refill my perfume! Friend loved it too.
