• 3/5 from Jen Lucas, attended Oct 2026: It's very expensive. The class was 2 hours and I would have appreciated been given a glass/bottle of water. The set up wasn't ideal having to reach over people to access each of the scents. A better set up would be to have different stations away from the attendees. We were told the fragrance will get better over time, this is a concern for me as it should be great to begin with? I wouldn't recommend others book it.

The staff were very experienced and knowledgeable which enabled individual guidance throughout the process of developing a personal take-home fragrance for all participants. Immensely enjoyable afternoon and would definitely do this again and recommend it to others. Thank ladies for the experience :-)

He created a scent inspired by his father, which brought him to tears. As for me - after going my entire life thinking that I'd never find a perfume that I'd like enough to wear, Janelle was able to help me create one! Now the only challenge remaining is to allow the scent to mature for a month before I start to wear it!

We then selected fragrances from top middle and base note options until we found ones that worked together. We then put drops into a tube, gave them a mix and tested our fragrance before it was bottled and topped with an alcohol carrier. It was a very enjoyable experience and my group of mostly young people enjoyed creating their own fragrances which were all impressive. Lovely Christmas gift from my son and daughter in law.

I was impressed with the amount of scents we could play with. I enjoyed the process of making a perfume. I learned a lot and I left with my personalised perfume.

I had in mind a perfume I wanted to replicate, but in the end decided to find my own unique perfume, which was the point of the class. There were so many different scents to try and combine and you immediately know what you like and don't like for your perfume. Then trying them together for that perfect combination - the time just flies by! Our teacher was very knowledgeable and patient. She was there to help for every step of the process and for any questions we had. She took the time to help us pinpoint the right ratio of our chosen ingredients for the exact final product we wanted. In the end my friend went for a more floral perfume, whereas I more musky, and we were both so pleased to have a perfume unique just to us! I would definitely recommend trying this class and would like to attend the class again in the future.

There was quite a bit of information which, while explained well, was a lot to take in. Some information sheets would have been nice to take home. Overall, it was a great experience.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable and the resources were well set up so it was very easy for us beginners. I didn’t expect to learn so much about the science of perfumery in addition to having access to beautiful natural ingredients. This particular workshop was a bit pricier compared to others offered by ClassBento. But overall we are obsessed with our new perfumes!

I think 2 hours is not enough, although our tutor stayed overtime and helped, it feld like more explanation on how to combine, how it works would be helpful - if any longer workshops, I would love to attend.

Everything was organised and our teacher articulated instructions well. It’s an exceptional class to involve yourself in and my friend and I will be back with our husband’s to allow them to create their very own scent as well.

I found the course was informative and well delivered by our French instructor The environment was pleasant and well laid out. The back up assistant was equally pleasant who didn't have a English name, but very polite and knowledgeable, I attempted to produce a masculine aftershave, but having limited ability to evaluate the odour of my concoction and still recovering from this "URTI". one question if I should wish to obtain duplicate copies, how difficult is this and what costs are involved? I appreciate the wide range of scents we were able to smell and choose from to create our own perfume. Each of these scents has the top / middle / base note labelled on their bottles which help beginner like me to differentiate. I definitely like it that we were given sufficient time to create and bring home a 50ml perfume. The environment was pleasant and conducive for a workshop. I also like the idea that we were to start thinking of a theme for our perfume which would help to guide our design in the session.

Situated in a beautiful space you are warmly welcomed as your senses are invigorated by all the varying scents. The class was exciting, informative and a lot of fun. My partner and I have already decided this will be a yearly workshop for us and I can’t wait to come back.

This class was absolutely fantastic and the space is stunningly beautiful. The teachers where informative and helpful in creating our own fragrances. Offering you there advice and expertise when the sheer number of options seems like too much. My partner and I will be definitely coming back when we need our next bottle of perfume. 10/10 would recommend.
