Photography Course for Beginners: Adobe Lightroom

In this four hour workshop, you'll learn how to manage and organise all of your RAW files in Lightroom. You will master the library module so that you never misplace another photograph again.

In Daniel's personal catalogue, he has around 400, 000 photographs, all very neatly organised. He will give you his exact system to manage yours.

In the second half of the workshop, you will learn the essential development tools within Lightroom to develop your RAW files. Your RAW files are your digital negatives, and need to be developed before being exported into their final JPEG file.

You will be working on Daniels' personal RAW files so that you can learn how to use the various development tools at your disposal.

At the end of the workshop, he will develop six images from National Geographic to show you exactly how they were processed in Lightroom. His aim is not to teach you how to become an expert in every little corner of the Lightroom application.

Instead, it’s about learning the fundamentals of this artistic tool extremely well. It’s about simplifying this complex software so that you can focus on creating your masterpiece.

One thing that’s never discussed in-depth with digital post production is the potential for empowering yourself to self learn in photography. This is one of the fundamental teachings of this photography masterclass, and the thing that differentiates it from absolutely every other course that exists.
