Hi, I’m Renee, the creator behind Pixie & Me!What started as a love of making and creating has grown into an incredible online crafting community of more than 400, 000 followers across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to be particularly artistic or experienced to make something beautiful, sometimes you just need someone to show you how to get started! Over the years, I’ve shared hundreds of creative projects, tutorials and ideas, with a particular love for making embroidery feel modern, fun and completely achievable for beginners.Pixie & Me has also been recognised as a finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Arts, Crafts & Gifts category, which was such a special milestone for my creative business.One of my favourite parts of what I do is teaching in person workshops. There’s something completely different about sitting around a table together, having a drink, chatting and watching everyone turn the same basic materials into something uniquely their own.I especially love seeing someone arrive convinced they’re “not creative” and leave a few hours later carrying something they genuinely can't believe they made themselves.My workshops are relaxed, social and very beginner-friendly. There’s no expectation of perfection and absolutely no previous embroidery experience needed. I provide everything you need and guide you through the process step by step.For me, crafting is as much about the experience as the finished piece, switching off for a few hours, learning something new, meeting people and having a laugh along the way.I’d love to have you join me at the table and make something beautiful together!
