Join Steph in her gorgeous home kitchen as she takes you on a journey through the bold and fresh flavours of Mexican cuisine. In a nod to Mexico’s traditional plant-forward fare, vegetables feature heavily on the menu is delicious and inspired ways.

This is a fantastic Melbourne cooking class full of re-imagined dishes, incredible flavours and clever little tricks to take your dishes to new heights of flavour, all using health-promoting plants! No prior cooking experience is needed and this class is perfect for beginners.

What you'll cook during the class:

  • Charred corn with smokey paprika aioli and herbs
  • Homemade corn tortillas
  • Charred tomatillo and pepper salsa
  • Classic guacamole with grated chilli
  • Sweet potato nachos with queso, black beans and corn
  • Smokey pulled jackfruit tacos with fresh tomato and pineapple salsa
  • Chilli chocolate mousse with olive oil and black salt

Cook a dish or two for a casual midweek dinner, or recreate the entire menu for a memorable and delectable dinner party! These dishes will become a favourite part of your weekly repertoire.

Please note:
Steph is only running private cooking classes at this time, either two or three hours in duration. This menu reflects a three-hour class however there is a two hour class with an abbreviated menu also (see corresponding two-hour class listing for the menu).

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 16 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
