Welcome to the House of Handmade
Settle into the House of Handmade craft space! We will run through introductions to the host as well as house keeping including water, tea and coffee facilities.
Design Time
Decide if you're making earrings, a bracelet or a necklace. Our host can help you with design choices including gold or silver chains, before also selecting your clay colours.
Time to Create
Learn the basics of polymer clay from our experienced host, including the different types of clay, conditioning and steps to design your polymer clay slab.
Shaping and Baking
After creating your colourful slab, time to decide what shapes to cut out. Your host will assist in the baking process of your clay designs.
Refine Those Clay Skills
While your first batch of clay is baking, your host will guide you through your second batch of clay. Depending on the group, this may be a second slab or fruit charms.
Drill Finding Holes
After your pieces finish baking, it's time to prep your clay pieces for your jewellery. Learn how to drill finding holes in your clay pieces.
Time to Assemble
It's finally time to put your bag chains together! Using pliers and jump rings, you'll learn how to put your pieces together.
