In this two hour workshop, you will receive guidance from a patient and experienced teacher to help you make ceramic works of art! You will get to make 3 pieces in this pottery wheel workshop.Exciting News with All Fired up inhouse Kiln firing services Full Professional kiln firing services available. We have this available for additional cost per item. We also have optional ceramic glaze painting sessions. You can then make a session to paint your items, and put them back in the kiln for a full gloss glaze finish. Please note: Minimum of 4 people are required to run public sessions, alternatively we do have private sessions with special pricing from one to 30 people.If you book and we do not have the minimum numbers of 4 people, we will be in contact with you to reschedule the dateWe also offer small groups sessions with public sessions with minimum 4 people in a public session up to 10 x people. We have two throwing room studios, so we tend to split the bookings with an average class size of 6 people. You'll need an apron and a bath towel for your lapWhat To Expect From Our Brisbane Pottery Wheel Classes!In this 1.5 to 2 hour workshop, allow 2 hour time slot for the complete clean up process, you will receive step by step guidance from a patient and experienced teacher to help you make a few unique masterpieces.We will be working with Earthenware pottery clay which means you can take it home and let it dry, or put it through the kiln so it is ready for your custom painting after first firing. This process will get the best result, and can get the exact paint work you want in a second session without rushing. Choose our inhouse firing service available for $20 per piece per half tray size up to 12cmOur ceramic pottery painting sessions are $10 Earlybird tix plus glaze firing $20 per piece. This is the best process professional potters use with using under glaze after the first firing, and the pottery painting session are super cheap at $10 per person for 2 hour session so you can do all the detail you desire. This gets you the best professional results that look amazing. The Glaze firing is super quick and ready within 1 week after the paint and glaze session. Or you can keep it as an air-dried clay and paint your creations yourself later however you feel with acrylic paint!We also offer the intermediate session which is the best option to come back when your little better and making something worth putting through for kiln firing. The intermediate class you paint 2 x pieces in the same class for firing, we put the glaze on for you, and then glaze fire for pickup in 4 weeks. This session is $115pp which is great as a follow up session from the Beginners session.Have all the assistance you need to create something you love!Birthday Cake, Free for bookings of 7 people or more. Mud Caramel or chocolate depending on availability. For larger groups of 7 plus we also have the Birthday cake at no cost, or for smaller groups under 7 people this is $50 which includes plates, napkins etcBook in a public session for any size group does not matter if you have. On busy nights we split sessions into multiple rooms so at times you may have your own room or just sharing with 1 or 2 other people. Best deals are $89pp Earlybird booked 5 days before any event dates or $99pp for any last minutes within 5 days of event date and time. You can book a private room and teacher which is the $99pp for groups of 8 plus, or same cost of that minimum amount if you have a smaller group. Put in the request on the booking page, just scroll to the very bottom of the dates, last one is making a request for your date and time. The studio is still byo drinks and food. We have platters available for advance ordering if that makes it easier. We only provide plates and napkins for our platters, otherwise it is also byo plates, cutlery, and glassware. We have paper cups available in every session.
