Hi there, I’m Kelly, owner and head floral artist at KB Floral Studio.I grew up with a love of all things crafty and handmade, and was never without paper and pencils. I loved playing with clothes when I was young and would frequently design and hand sew my own accessories.My working life has been spent in a diverse range of roles within the retail industry, always with a creative side hustle working away in the background. I’ve worked with paints, illustration, craft and jewellery. Fast forward to the year 2024 when I enrolled in a sustainable floristry course and as they say, the rest is history.Teaching others has always brought me great joy as I love teaching workshops with people from all walks of life. I have taught many craft based workshops from drawing, watercolour and floristry. I believe that everyone has a unique creative expression to share and it really just needs space and support to ignite. I love using eco-conscious and sustainable floristry techniques within my floristry practise and follow these same principles when teaching too.
