Q: What will happen once I've finished making my wax ring?
Your finished wax ring will be cast in sterling silver (up to 10g of silver included), polished, and ready in 2–4 weeks.
Q: What is provided in the workshop? Do I need to bring anything?
All tools, materials, snacks, and inspiration is provided. Optional upgrades include setting 3mm gemstones, making extra rings (time-permitting), or making a ring out of 9ct gold (please enquire for a quote prior to workshop).
Q: Can I use my own gemstones or metal?
Unfortunately, we do not have the tools or setup to use your own gemstones or metal, which will all be provided for you.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, please give at least 72 hrs notice for refund. If less notice is given i.e. sickness, we can reschedule your workshop to a later date.

Hi, I'm Rachael, the hands and heart behind Wombat Fern Jewellery. I'm a jewellery artist and workshop facilitator based in Naarm/Melbourne. Inspired by my creative upbringing and love for nature, I combined sustainable design with traditional jewellery making techniques to help others discover the joy of handmade jewellery. With a background in environmental ecology, sustainability is at the core of my creative practice. I work with recycled metals, ethical gemstones, and low-waste materials, and donate part of my profits to local wildlife rehabilitation. I teach jewellery making workshops out of Arbor Creative Studios, a beautiful natural studio space within the foothills of Mt Dandenong, where you can enjoy the therapeutic process of hand-carving your own unique rings using the lost wax method. This is a relaxing, immersive craft that is perfect for anyone wanting to slow down, get creative, and design a personal piece of wearable art!
