Queering Sex and How We Think About It Workshop

Find your way to a confidence and pleasure in your sex life

3 hours Class size 1 to 20     label $25

In this peer-led, collaborative workshop, we will discover what pleasure and intimacy mean to us.

“Queer” is not only an identity, but an active process to reject tradition, liberating your sexuality and gender expression.

What does it mean to queer sex? How can you do it in your own life to claim your own pleasure and intimacy? In this workshop, we will work through these questions together.

Your host, Talisin, will guide you through social activities and discussions to help you actively reflect on your own intimate activities and find new ways to explore them.

Please be aware that while this workshop is about sex, it will not involve any sexual activities.

About the venue:

This workshop will be taking place on Aboriginal land. I would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Woi Wurrung people as the traditional custodians of Naarm and surrounds, for which sovereignty was never ceded, and I wish to pay respects to elders past and present of the Kulin nations, and to all First Nations people.

This workshop, while happening at the same time as the Midsumma festival, is not affiliated with the festival or its events. But instead is in celebration of the queer discourse happening at this time.
